ABOUT US

Estates, Residential and Commercial Landscaping and Maintenance

WE MAKE ELEGANT OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES

Maintenance

We specialise in providing your property with regular care. Our maintenance services keep your garden looking good throughout the year.  We are fine turf specialists as well as having experience in orchard management.  Our wide knowledge of plants and plant care ensures that the correct job is scheduled at the correct time.

.

Design

We work with talented Garden Designers to provide you with a custom design for your planting & hard-Landscaping needs. You can rest assured in our comprehensive knowledge of plants, lawn products, and maintenance strategies.

Construction

We don’t pretend to be experts in hard-landscaping so we have formed a business partnership with one of the most reputable and reliable companies in Eastbourne.  Vastly experienced and on the register of approved contractors for Marshalls.  They work with us on our larger projects and also quote directly to our customers.  With this partnership in place we can provide high quality work including block paving, retaining walls, paths and other hard-landscaping features.
MACHINERY

We have made a significant investment in modern machinery.  Our equipment will be reliable and appropriate to the task.  Our experience guides us as to when a job should be done but it is the machinery and tools that allow us to work efficiently and quickly.

Our History

Hellingly Garden Services is a new company built on old skills.  The business owner Steve Veal trained under Jeremy Nicholson and Ken Sperry in the 1980’s working on large country houses and gardens around the Uckfield area.  This type of formal training is rarely given these days and Steve is privy to many skills that have fallen into misuse.  In 1987 Steve began a successful career in the world of Information Technology, eventually running his own software company, until its sale in 2015.  Having sold his company Steve is now moving back to his first love, Horticulture.

"Thanks for your hard work on the garden it really is beginning to look good and I especially like the front looking so good makes me feel so much better when I walk that way"

.

Liz Felstead, Arlington

"Thanks so much for a fab job in the garden yesterday.  It was great to come home to!"

Karen Illife, Five Ash Down

"My wife and I had got to the point where our garden was getting on top of us.  We found Steve to be both knowledgeable and very helpful.  The price was very reasonable and so we took him on to do the work.  The quality of the work was excellent I would have no hesitation in recommending Hellingly Garden Services to anyone in the future!"
